Wow - I LOVE these tools on dealing with "plans anxiety." This post is SO relatable, and I love the idea of just making the anxiety part of a script, and understanding the get-together isn't going to be absolutely perfect...this is really so helpful, gonna use these tips FOR SURE!

This is very helpful, thank you! I have to make a comment about the shark picture. Sharks are actually my worst, irrational fear (thanks, Jaws) but the photo caption made me literally LOL. That was good 😆

Ha! That's awesome it made you LOL. "Irrational" is the calling card of a lot of fears. I have a random thought when I enter a public restroom stall that there is going to be a dead body in there--the thought makes no sense, I don't know where it came from, and it has never come true, but I don't let it stop me and I know it's just what my weirdo brain does. Anyway, that's a long way of saying I'm right there with you!
